Yes, I do. If you’re buying in the DMV, here are a few options worth knowing: DC – DC Open Doors Program Up to ~3% toward down payment + closing costs. Not limited to first-time buyers, but income caps apply. MD – Maryland Mortgage Program Statewide options with assistance typically structured as a 0% second loan. Some counties offer more — for example, Montgomery County programs are now reaching up to $50,000 depending on the scenario. VA – Virginia Housing Down Payment Assistance Grant Grant + loan options depending on income and loan type. Some buyers qualify for funds that don’t have to be repaid. Grants – Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB programs) Additional assistance through participating lenders. Limited funds, opens and closes quickly each year, and can be layered with other programs in some cases.
